Taking this idea to the practical side, the To Celebrate collection, the launch of Mel de Assis for the 2016/2017 summer season, is inspired by the oenological vocation of Bento Gonçalves, a city in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.With a marked colonization of Italian origin, the city is considered the national capital of wine and the exclusive series of accessories re-reading the typical elements of the region, transforming wine references into adornments with an unprecedented concept in the market. In total, there are 25 pieces that refer to the characteristics of certain varieties of wine and are translated into shapes, outlines and colors carefully drawn to reveal sophistication and elegance in every detail. The extra touch of charm is due to the application of the famous Swarovski crystals.Besides the originality in the design, the accessories surprise by the combination of characteristics that offer great comfort during the use. Manufactured with a low density material, the parts are almost imperceptible in the feeling of use.The flagship of the collection is the Pinot Noir earring, whose design resembles a stylized vine leaf with arabesques, in reference to the tourist region of the Valley of the Vineyards. Elegant, it has delicate tracing, with refined design. Another highlight is the Isabel model, which refers to the intensity of the wine, combined with the lightness of the floral touch, expressed by the combined game between the filled and leaked effects. Also prominent are creations such as the Merlot earring, with a design reminiscent of a wine drop shape. Full bodied and robust, it has size variations that match the style and personality of each woman. The models that are available at the brand’s store in Bento Gonçalves and through online shopping prove that the world of wine goes far beyond the richness of its flavors.
