The World Cup has already begun with a landslide of Russia, the country that hosts the World Cup in its debut, showing that football is really excitement on and off the pitch. And it was with these sensations that the architects Celso Rayol and Fernando Costa created the thematic decoration of a Sofitel Ipanema suite for the World Cup. Nothing of the obvious green and yellow. Whoever cheers for the National Team in the environment prepared by the hotel will enter a soccer wonderland.

According to Rayol, the idea is to use the expression “Let there be heart” as a starting point. “It’s the excitement that connects everyone, which makes football such a passionate sport. And we wanted to bring some of the commotion that football provokes into the environment, because that’s what makes absolutely different people unite around that passion. “

The creators of the space even prepared extra amusements for the visitors. The first of these is a mantle inspired by Helio Oiticica’s parangolés. Designed by the designer and architect Camila Rodriguez, the mantle is green and has a series of hanging amulets. The idea is that the visitors of the suite will cover this mantle at the time of cheering for the National Team. Another detail that promises to entertain those who pass through the room are colored ribbons, which can be highlighted and glued to personal objects such as cell phones.

That way, every visitor can take a little of that experience with him. The sound was not forgotten either. Between a goal scream and another, guests will enjoy playlists created especially by health coach Carolyna Vaz, both to reassure and to encourage guests. The decorated suite is set up until the end of the event.
