Luxury cosmetic line boosts L’Oréal’s billing results

While it is more common to see in the press that the top luxury fashion brands are celebrating excellent billing results, the beauty and cosmetics segment also has much to celebrate. A good example is L’Oréal, which during the first half of this year grew by more than 7% over the same period of 2018, totaling sales of over 14.8 million euros.

The good results are due in large part to the 48.5% growth registered in the brand’s e-commerce, which already accounts for over 13% of the global total sales. And although in France, considered one of the main destinations of the luxury market, the results were not so expressive, in Germany and especially in Western Europe the indices registered were positive.

L’Oreal Luxe, a cosmetic line that includes the brand’s traditional perfumes, grew by over 13% in the first half of 2019.

Among the specific market segments that had the best results in the period, the highlight was L’Oréal Luxe, a division specializing in luxury cosmetic lines, which grew 13.2% to over 5.1 million euros. in marketed products.
