Florianópolis hosts event on the fashion segment and its trends

From research to production, the biggest fashion event in Santa Catarina, the OCTA Fashion – Observatory of Cultures and Anticipated Trends, has the latest details aligned. The parade that arrives at its eighth edition is scheduled to take place on November 28 and under the theme Displacements will be presented creations of students graduating from the Fashion course of the State University of Santa Catarina.

The Dislocations theme inspired 33 trainees to produce three creations each for parade day. According to Professor Daniela Novelli, the subject draws the idea of ​​changing positions, going from one place to another, moving. “Immigration is, in the first place, a displacement of people in physical space. The eyes will be focused on every detail of what will be presented on the catwalk of the OCTA Fashion. This edition of the event will be coordinated by Professor Amanda Queiroz Campos. According to Amanda, the OCTA is a maximum course offer in practical application of the knowledge developed during the previous semesters of the Bachelor of Fashion from Udesc. “Not only the collections parades, as well as the organization of the event are integral parts of the political-pedagogical project and developed throughout the course.
