In search of new experiences

Zarpo, an online tourism agency focusing on luxury packages, conducted a survey of its membership base to identify the profile of the Brazilian luxury traveler. With more than six million people registered on its platform, it was possible to identify the main characteristics of those who seek comfort and sophistication in their travels.

According to the agency, women are responsible for the purchase decision, 70% of the packages are closed and for them. In addition, 34% of Brazil’s luxury travelers are between 25 and 34 years old, followed by adults between the ages of 35 and 44 who are 30% of this public. On average, R $ 3,500 per reservation is spent.

Leaving states like São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Minas Gerais, these tourists are destined for resorts and hotels on the northeastern coast, mainly in Bahia, and some cities in the interior of São Paulo.

“Considering the destinations and evaluating what each hotel offers, you can see that guests are searching for places with complete infrastructure that will not even need to leave the hotel, even though the destination offers a lot of attractions out of it. who bring an excellent travel experience with family and friends, “says Alexis Manach, co-CEO and co-founder of Zarpo.

Many tourists seek to experience these experiences without giving up convenience. For this reason, there is increasing demand for travel packages that include services like the All-Inclusive. “They want the hotel to have unique attractions for kids and teens and facilities such as bars, SPA, nautical activities, natural and heated pools, courts, fitness spaces, shows and live music,” he adds.
