Dior Spring/Summer Collection 2019 unites movement, dance and fashion

To unveil its new Spring/Summer 2019 collection, Dior joined forces with Israeli choreographer Sharon Eyal and created a beautiful campaign that combines movement, dance and fashion. Through the precise framing of the photographer Harley Weir, it is possible to perceive a collection in which lightness is a striking feature.

According to the creative director of Dior, Maria Grazia Chiuri, “work is related to the celebration of the body through clothing and the opportunity it offers us in how we represent ourselves in the eyes of others, as well as in our own eyes.”

With a color palette that emphasizes discretion and parts that seem to merge with the chosen scenarios, the new collection takes a broadly minimalist approach. The transparency also gains prominence in the pieces and in the photos, highlighting yet another collection focused on beauty and simplicity.
